Loving Care Home Care was started in 2014 by Marie Vandegrift. She previously worked for an Assisted Living Facility for 26 years where she started as a CNA and became the manager of the residential care unit. During this time, she had experience doing private duty home care for members of the Downeast Community. In 2014, Marie made a career change to home care as she identified a need in the area for quality in home services that allowed adults the ability to safely age in place. Marie’s daughter, Eva, was brought on in 2016 to open Loving Care’s second office in Scarborough serving communities in Southern Maine. We work very closely with care coordinators at Elder Independence of Maine (EIM) as well as the Veterans Administration and families to provide long term care services to seniors and adults with disabilities.
